This is not a form. Contact me if you’re interested, and we’ll figure out what you need!
Pricing is determined on a painting-by-painting basis. While I usually work on approximately a 15×22″ format, I’ve started doing paintings in the range of 8×10″ to 10×10″. I charge PER SUBJECT, so if you have more than one person, or more than one pet, the price will increase incrementally, whether separate paintings/drawings or on the same piece of paper.
All commissions are done using a signed contract, with a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins, and the balance (non-refundable) upon completion, before I send it. I don’t take overpayments and send part of it back or to a third party.
I retain copyright and reproduction rights to the painting, and may display it on my website and marketing materials, but you will have ownership of the painting.
If you decide to commission me, please look at my work here on my website to determine if it will meet your expectations. Because I’m using watercolor (or sometimes other media), changing colors, positioning, backgrounds, etc. will not be possible. I’ll send you photos of the work as it’s progressing. The color and contrast won’t be exact, but you’ll be able to get an idea of its progress. A painting can go through some “scary” stages, so I won’t update you during those times.
I also run a graphic design and web design business, and I take good care of my clients, who have been with me for years. I’ll take good care of you, too. Most paintings and drawings take between 2-6 weeks to do, give or take. This doesn’t include the time of ordering and receiving the frame.
I collect applicable sales tax.
Framing and shipping prices are separate costs. If you want me to have it framed, or frame it myself, there will be an additional charge, in advance, that is non-refundable once the frame is ordered, which I do as soon as I receive your payment. I use UPS for shipping. Once I’ve sent it, that fee is nonrefundable, too. The frame takes a few weeks to arrive, so please take that into account. I have no control over it. I’m ordering frames at the beginning of your artwork.
This info and more will be in the contract you need to sign and return with the deposit before work begins.
I accept payment via Zelle (through your bank — goes straight into my account) only. I’m working on accepting Stripe.
I don’t pass on overpayments to you or third parties.
